Five kilometres from Corfu town, Perama is located close to the outlet of the Halikiopoulos lagoon. It enjoys a view towards the wold-famous Pontikonisi, which can be reached by boat from the little jetty at Agios Nikolas, and it is also linked with the 17th century Monastery of Vlaherena by a 300 metre-long causeway.
